UPPSC Prelims Results 2021: Candidates unhappy as commission skips own criteria


The Uttar Pradesh Civil Service Commission (UPPSC) declared the results of the combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (Preliminary) -2021, commonly known as PCS (pre) -2021, and Assistant Forest Conservator / Officer exam. rangeland forester (ACF / RFO) Preliminary Exam-2021 on Wednesday.

In PCS (Pre) -2021, a total of 7,688 candidates out of a total of 678 positions offered and in the preliminary examination ACF / RFO-2020, a total of 296 candidates out of a total of 16 positions offered were declared successful under condition. The results were made available on the official website, UPPSC secretary Jagdish informed.

A total of 6,913,173 candidates applied online for the PCS-2021 exam held on October 24. 31 Uttar Pradesh districts for review.

According to committee secretary Jagdish, a separate statement will be issued regarding the main exam schedule and successful applicants for online submission.

Qualification for the CSAT or Civil Service Aptitude Test was a must in the preliminary exam and it was mandatory for all candidates to achieve a minimum of 33 percent.

Information on scores / thresholds, etc. candidates will be available on the official website of the commission after the announcement of the final selection results, explained the secretary of the UPPSC.

Applicants, however, expressed dissatisfaction with the total number of applicants declared qualified for the main program, which averages only 11.33 times the total number of positions offered in PCS-2021.

Pratiyogi Chatra Sangharsh Media Officer Samiti Prashant Pandey has expressed outrage at the functioning of the UPPSC and said it appears the commission does not follow its own rules. Recently, the new chairman of the commission duly issued a notice and informed that candidates 15 times the total number of positions would be declared qualified for the majority vote, he said.
