UPSC civil services 2020: Cadre allocated to recommended candidates


The candidates recommended for the public service UPSC 2020 have received service executives, according to the update available on the official website of the Department of Personnel and Training. In total, 668 candidates were assigned executives.

Selection in the civil service is made by a preliminary examination, a main written examination and an interview.

“The outcome of the 2020 Civil Service Examination will be subject to the outcome of Written Request (s) (C) No.5153/2020 and 7351/2020 pending before the Delhi High Court. Therefore, the allocation of services to candidates recommended by UPSC on the basis of CSE-2020 is subject to changes that may be made necessary thereafter, ”states the notification available on the DoPT website.

“It is further clarified that the upgrade of the service should not be carried out against vacancies that have arisen due to the cancellation of the candidacy of candidates of higher merit or the non-adherence of a candidate to the assigned service / death / resignation after joining the service / booking request or eligibility documents found invalid during verification, even after joining the service, etc. He adds.

The final result of the Public Service UPSC 2020 was released to the public on September 24.
