Actors Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, who have been married for eight years now, continue to set social media dating goals for their fans. Personally and professionally, they’ve managed to hit the right rope, which is why they don’t feel the need for anything else, including expanding their family.
Dubey took to social media to announce that something good was going on in his life and he can’t wait to shout it from the rooftops. Fans naturally began to speculate that he was going to become a father. But that didn’t turn out to be true. “There are no such plans. I love my fans and they speculated out of joy. But somewhere our cabling is a bit off, ”he says.
As we dig deeper into our research, the 37-year-old explains, “The moment we see a couple happy for something, our first instinct is to go in that direction. There are a billion reasons why we have been ecstatic during the eight years of our marriage. Very rarely has this idea of going with family crossed our mind. There is no such plan, I do not see it in the near future, and I do not don’t know, even in the more distant future, we’re going organically.
Filled with gratitude for all they have been able to accomplish, Dubey adds that as a unit, they want to “inspire” the people around them. “If we are able to motivate them, our lives would be worth it. Anything that is a socially accepted standard of joy may not necessarily be relevant to us, ”the actor explains.
In an industry where getting married was previously thought to amount to suicide, Dubey and Mehta have stepped forward with pride. He says the thought hasn’t crossed his mind “even for half a second.”
He explains: “Our relationship was organic, just like our marriage. These are not things that you develop. Weddings are the most fantastic institution. Aaap beeti bataun toh humein yeh phali thi, hai aur rahegi (we have thrived on it before, doing now and in the future too).
