Neha Sharma opened up about a transformed photo of her taking the tour in 2018. A selfie she posted online has been edited to add a sex toy in the background. She said she was “traumatized” at first, but finally made her peace with it.
In an interview, Neha said she discovered the forged image when she hit the sets of her web series, Illegal, and everyone was behaving “strangely” towards her.
Speaking to radio host Siddharth Kannan, Neha said, “At first I was traumatized. I was like, ‘Dude, this is crazy.’ That kind of morph and all is not good. I was obviously younger, so I was really nerd at the time. I was like, ‘Why me and why is that? Why would anyone do this? Why are you so vella (jobless) to find this shit? ‘ “
Neha said someone told her about the viral photo on Illegal sets. “I hadn’t realized about the photo. I came to the set and everyone is a little weird and weird. They were like they weren’t talking, they were all chatting, whispers were happening. And I’m like, ‘What’s going on? Why is everyone behaving strangely? ‘ I think eventually someone came up to me and said, “Neha, there’s this photo of you that’s viral”, and I was like, “What photo? Then I saw it and I was like (opens mouth in shock), “Wow, very creative, whoever did that.” I was upset at first, but then I was like, “It’s okay, I know what’s the truth and I really don’t need these things to satisfy me.”
