4 Primary School Girls Injured In Wall Plaster Collapse In UP Classroom

Ballia (Uttar Pradesh):

Four girls who were studying at an elementary school in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, were injured when plaster from their classroom wall fell on them, police said on Sunday.

Police said the incident took place on Saturday afternoon at Veerpur Primary School, and the injured girls were taken to a public hospital.

Among the injured, Richa, 9, a class 5 student, and Anu, 7, a class 3 student, were critical, and they were admitted to the district hospital, police added.

Officials from the basic education department said that some time ago the school building was repaired. The case is under study.
