After being postponed twice, JEE-Advanced registration begins today

The JEE-Advanced will take place on October 3. This year, IIT-Kharagpur will host the exam. According to a notification on the official JEE-Advanced website, the registration process will begin from Wednesday and will continue until 5 p.m. on September 20. The deadline for payment of fees is September 21.

The registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) -advanced, which is underway for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), began on Wednesday after being postponed twice due to the delay in the announcement of the results of the JEE (main).

The JEE exams (main), the results of which were announced late Tuesday evening by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in addition to being an eligibility criterion for JEE-Advanced, are also organized for admissions to various courses of engineering, including the National Institutes of Technology. (NIT), Indian Institutes of Information Technology and other centrally funded technical colleges.

The JEE-Advanced will take place on October 3. This year, IIT-Kharagpur will host the exam.

According to a notification posted on the official JEE-Advanced website, the registration process will start from Wednesday and will continue until 5 p.m. on September 20. The deadline for payment of fees is September 21.

The NTA on Wednesday announced the JEE (advanced) thresholds, according to which, while the threshold for the unreserved category will be 87.89-100 NTA score, its NTA score 68-87.8 for OBC, 46.8-87 , 89 for SC, 34.67- 87.89 for ST and 66.22-87.89 for EWS categories.

Eligible candidates can now register for the JEE (advanced).
