Actor Sonu Sood alongside together with his team labored all night time Monday to supply oxygen to ARAK Hospital in Bengaluru from the place that they had obtained an emergency name.
At least 22 lives had been in danger allegedly as a result of the unavailability of oxygen cylinders. On Tuesday, a member of the Sonu Sood Charity basis team obtained a name from MR Satyanarayan, the Yelahanka Old Town inspector, a few state of affairs at ARAK hospital, which had already misplaced two patients as a result of oxygen scarcity.
The team shortly went into motion and round midnight organized a cylinder. They wakened all their contacts to tell them of the emergency and folks flocked to assist. Within just a few hours, Sonu Sood’s team disposed of 15 extra oxygen cylinders.
“This was pure teamwork and the willingness to help our compatriots. As soon as we got the call from Inspector Satyanarayan, we verified it and went into action in a matter of minutes. The team spent the whole night thinking about nothing but in helping the hospital get oxygen cylinders. If there had been any delay, many families would have lost loved ones, “Sood stated.
“I want to thank everyone who helped save so many lives last night. It is those actions of my team members that make me want to go on and keep trying to make a difference in people’s lives. I am extremely proud of Hashmath who was in contact with me all the time and all the team that helped them ”, he added.
Police also stepped in to help and at one point, when a patient needed to be changed and there was no ambulance driver available, they took the patient to another hospital.
The second wave of coronavirus has produced a wave of infections and the number of positive COVID-19 cases has increased rapidly.
The actor, who has already received his doses of vaccine, launched an initiative – “Sanjeevani – A Shot of Life” – to encourage individuals to get vaccinated towards the new coronavirus and to lift consciousness about the inoculation marketing campaign in the nation.
