Tech Mahindra Ltd. has signed Viswanathan Anand, five-time World chess champion, because the mentor for the phygital (bodily and digital) Global Chess League.
The launch mentioned that the league may have eight franchise owned groups from the world over.
The groups will comprise a mixture of titled ladies and men gamers together with juniors and wildcard entrants enjoying one another in a spherical robin format.
The groups qualifying for the semifinals will enter the knockout stage of the championship.
Viswanathan Anand mentioned: “chess is a game that is played by millions around the world.
